To enter Poland legally, you need to get visa. Please note that Type A is an airport transit visa, which only allows you to stay within the international transit zone of the airport. The other two, Type C and Type D, permit you to travel freely throughout Poland.

An Airport Transit Visa (type A) to Poland is required for citizens of selected countries, allowing them to stay exclusively within the international transit area of the airport. This visa does not entitle the holder to leave the transit zone or to travel within the Schengen Area.

Type B transit visa have been largely replaced by type C visas with a “transit” annotation.

Type C Visa (Schengen Visa)

Designed for short-term stays. It allows the holder to stay in Poland and the entire Schengen Area for up to 90 days within any 180-day period. It is ideal for tourism, business trips, or visiting family.

A long-term visa to Poland valid for stays longer than 90 days, but no longer than one year. It is typically issued for work, long-term studies, or staying with family. It also allows travel within other Schengen countries for up to 90 days in a 180-day period.
